LA TIMES ( READ IT) this past weekend, had a break down of just LA Proper.
Huge illegal imigration issue.
40% of the population does not pay taxes.
70% of the illegal population lives in HUD housing.
Health Care cost for child birth, through the roof.
Keep in mind, this was for LA only, that I read..
And the list goes on and on.
I about dropped the paper when I was at LAX. For the first time, I have never read any such argument in the Local Paper.
No worries, the "COMRADS" and the "COLLECTIVE GOOD" will tell everyone that the "RICH" destroyed CALI!!!!!
Just because someone doesnât pay taxes doesnât mean they are not hard working or not responsible. When someone works 2 jobs, 40+ hours a week and still canât afford a small apartment or health insurance, something is wrong. Can you blame them for voting for what they thought they were supposed to get by working hard? We were told when we were little that if we worked hard and played by the rules, then we can do anything. But does anybody really think thatâs the case today? Granted there are many people who are lazy and think they are owed everything, but this is not most people.Quote from Stosh:
I wonder if such results are inevitable in a democracy. When the vote of someone who pays no taxes and won't work counts the same as a hard working, responsible person, how can we expect anything else? It is similar to two wolves and a chicken voting over what to have for dinner. Stosh
