Quote from OPTIONAL777:

An interesting question...

Who feels a greater sense of entitlement from the system?

Someone on welfare (one extreme) or the wealthy who have the money and power to influence the pols and the system?

Very interesting question, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I tried to break this down to the most simplest form, parent vs child relationship. Where does entitlement begin in a helpless childs life and when does the parent feel entitled to do or not to do something in relationship to their child and the conflict begins with each individuals sense of entitlement.

Objection, irrelevant. Money is an illusion ...that cracks me up.

a better observation... where does the money come from? (understand that money is an illusion)

proof-positive of the OP's premise

answer the question ... think hard about it now . (because, as little respect I have for you, I'm showing a bit of patience. It was a resolution I've made a few thousand times)

I would argue that entitlement of the poor and minority groups is a relatively new phenomena, where the sense of entitlement of the old money has been ingrained for generations...

Most of the poor know that they belong to the beggar class, and though they may act belligerent and entitled at times, there has not been centuries of entitlement for the poor and minority groups. It is relatively new to them, feeling that they are entitled to freedom, equality, and support from the upper class and/or government in the form of food, shelter education and clothing.

Many feel entitled because of the abuse of their racial and/or ethnic group, and they feel "payback" is due.

However, there is nothing like the sense of entitlement of old money...

nobody is entitled to anything they didn't produce. Although, everyone has an obligation to the things they have produced.

Endowment by "their Creator" is not produced by an individual, so following your argument, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not something that every person is entitled to...

you're beginning to try my patience.....

"watch the video" ..... that's not exactly an answer. It was a thought experiment. Are you incapable?
