Liberal assumption: All those with money didn't earn it.

it's true, some didn't, but for some odd reason those seem to slant left.

Ever heard people like Eddie Vedder or Rage Against the Machine? making millions standing on a stage singing telling all the rest of us the evils of capitalism. got to be an empty sort of guilty feeling, they don't think much of themselves and the way they make money. Everyone knows that to make it in music or acting you need some sort of lucky break. Pro athletes on the other hand tend to lean right. They face brutal competition every day, I guess they have some sort of feeling of accomplishment.

It feels good when I help others by:

increasing welfare.

increasing taxes on greedy corporations.

increasing taxes on the greedy productive.

I know how to help others. You have to help those on welfare. I think you should pay more taxes.

That makes me feel good to help others.

yes, I agree, Liberals want to feel good, and it usually involves spending OPM. actually doing productive things is far too much work

They are also driven by hatred of conservatives, probably more than anything.

An interesting question...

Who feels a greater sense of entitlement from the system?

Someone on welfare (one extreme) or the wealthy who have the money and power to influence the pols and the system?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Entitled to what exactly? system not defined.
Liberals and their welfare thralls feel entitled to other peoples money and wealthy feel entitled to their own.

Charity should exist, there are definitely cases. Liberal welfare however is a mental disease. An entitlement mentality with no sense of responsibility.

Stats have shown over and over again that most wealthy are first generation. What creative people want is simply freedom, they want to be entitled to you getting out of their way. The 1% of wealthy traders want you to leave them alone. Bill Gates wants to make money.

It's interesting too to think about the publically rich who obvious feel entitled. The Kennedys, Hollywood, music stars, etc. they are mostly liberal.

Behind the scenes we have small business owners, engineers, doctors, and I hate to say it, but traders. The first three are the ones who make the economy work and they are moderate to conservative.

Universities give another interesting microcosm of people. I have first hand knowledge of this one. The useless people like poli sci profs are very leftist. The engineering schools are very conservative. physics departments are left on the surface, but when you dig deeper, very pragmatic centrists.... like me.

Bottom line: the less productive you are, the more liberal you tend to be. The poorer ones then feel they have a right to OPM. Not a rule, just a tendency.

Some liberals just feel that if money is going to be spent its better to spend it on Americans in need

How many trillions did Bush and Regan spend on the already super rich war machine ? How many trillions in tax cuts did Bush and Reagan give to the already rich ?

Conservatives have no problems spending OPM on wars as well as sending other peoples kids to fight wars

Funny that you hate democrats for spending OPM when the biggest spenders of OPM in presidential history is Bush and Reagan

Thats a lot of other peoples money that your party spends

According to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report published in October 2007, the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan could cost taxpayers a total of $2.4 trillion dollars by 2017 when counting the huge interest costs because combat is being financed with borrowed money. The CBO estimated that of the $2.4 trillion long-term price tag for the war, about $1.9 trillion of that would be spent on Iraq, or $6,300 per U.S. citizen

I am in the very midst of them!! One Gal Pal took me to an anti-war demonstration, one roommate has a "repeal prop13" bumper sticker and they ALL get their money from grants... the roomie here monitizes everything she possibly can and personally, she's an asshole if there ever was one.. nibbles on the deal all the time, breaks the oral agreements, tried to break the written one even, tried to take away some of the use of my space but refused to change the rent amount... she's a sickie that gets grant monies all the time and does nothing for anybody with it... she turned on me when I said that stores should charge whatever the traffic will bear, she want's price controls!! Never mind a 2500 year history of failure of price controls, 100% failure rate afaik!!

This is an interesting conclusion.

Productivity is a result of the economic system you live under.

It's no coincidence that the least productive of all societies are and have been of the collective variety.

Why? It should be obvious by now.

How productive is China?

How productive is Japan?

How productive is/was Germany?

It should be obvious by now that you don't think through your arguments...

a better observation... where does the money come from? (understand that money is an illusion)

proof-positive of the OP's premise
