Buying calls for a living and arguing with derivman

Quote from Derivman:

MajorUrsa, I have just clearly stated my reasons for posting at Elite, and they are definitely trading related if you take the time to read my reply to the kind post by tc5. Now, as I am still in a good mood over reading the tc5 post again, I will not report you to the mods this time. If you mention trade2win or citybulls again, I will leave out your choice of revolting language at the end of citybulls, then I will not even be replying to you and I will just complain directly to the mods. I hope this will be the last time you mention anyone lese or another website. I have chosen Elite as my trading forum for the work with my instructor, and you or anyone else, like mr profitaker, are under no obligation to post in my thread if my posts are not in agreement with you. It is a free country and you can do what ever you like. You can easily put me on ignore and that will save you and me any hastle, and I can get on with my learning. I did not pay $5K dollars for nothing, and I am not going to leave any so called professional traders, who haven't even the decency to address someone in a civil manner, stop me from progressing to becoming a consistent profitable trader in the Options game. Cheers.

Haha, this is getting funnier by the hour. Are we responisble now for your own stupidity in buying into some scam, because ET has become the forum of your choice? Hehehe, that's a good one.

I sincerely hope you will report me to the mods. I have good hopes that will be the moment you yourself will be banned (again). And I can assure you that if they feel to ban me and leave you around, I would have no further busness at ET anyway.

My Dear opt789. As some of you seem to be very impatient, and I thought that it would be the other way around, and that is, us newbies will be impatient, I will post the following for you to consider and reply to. Cheers.

Can you tell if this quote is from an expert, or from one who thinks that he / she is an expert, or is it from a novice?

"1. The writer can KEEP the initial CREDIT and ROLL position to another month and take MORE CREDIT when position goes against him!!

2. "The buyer can do the same"!

Being able to buy back a short option position and then simultaneously sell another (roll) has no bearing on edge. An option buyer has the ability to roll too."
This was a futile debate between CYOF and Profitaker on a trade2win thread. You are simply going around in circles to try to show that selling options has an edge over buying them. You believe that options are not zero-sum and that, to me, is the same as saying 2+2=5. It is a pointless exercise in futility to discuss it. Your "expert" says that "A good General will always survey the battlefield prior to launching an attack" and that is why you are posting on this board to see what other market participants think. Well the problem with that is that you are not trading against the traders here, you are trading against the option market makers, so by his logic you need to go get a job on the floor and see how things work. Since he is an expert can I ask how many years he spent as an option market maker, which pit was he in, maybe I know him?

Quote from Profitaker:

You are embarrassingly transparent. Once again you talk about everything and anything except.... options.

your pretence of seeking advice cuts no ice with me - all you seek is attention, in whatever form it may come, as did Socrates, until he was exposed as a lieing cheat. You are almost at that point now !

Hopefully ET will rid itself if this beelzebub sooner rather than later.

My Dear Profitaker. It is now very obvious who is trying to cause disruptions and who is not. Why have you suddenly come out and attacked me. Is it because I have already reported you to the mods when I first started posting on another thread. At least I had the decency to leave the thread when I knew I was not wanted there. And may I now ask you, what makes you think you are welcome here. All that I am doing is showing you the same respect that you showed me, and I am at least willing to accept an apology and move one, but you, for whatever reason, persist with silly and ridiculous accusations that neither me nor the majority of readers of this thread know anything about. As you are attacking me I have taken it on myself to check you out at trade2win, as you and your friends keep mentioning it, and I must say that some of the material I have found makes for some very interesting reading indeed. It appears that you attack a lot of newbies over there as well. Why do you do this. What have us newbies ever done to deserve this type of treatment. My instructor has told me to be very careful, as it is not wise to get too hung up on what some people post, or how they behave towards others. What is important, he has told me, is to observe how these people operate and how they respond to civil and normal questions. When I asked him why, all that he said is, "you will know as you gain experience". I think I am already gaining some good experience, and for that, I thank you. I am willing to move on if you are. All is required is a simple apology for what you have called me. I am certain that that is not too much to ask for in light of the circumstances. Cheers.

I would like to thank those that have sent me PM's in support of my education. Your advice and comments are appreciated. Cheers.

This thread was getting a little boring but has become quite amusing once again.

Is there anyone that Derivman hasn't threatened to report to the mods? He thinks that because he got banned so quickly last week, he can effect the same fate on other people. He's in for a surprise.

The scam isn't even subtle. He's now shilling for his alter-ego "expert" tutor. $5K upfront no less for any sucker that wants to be parted with their cash.

Any newbie who gets sucked in by the cloak-and-dagger and PMs Derivman for the details of the mystery mentor deserves what they get.

My Dear TraderMojo. In case you have not noticed I am a newbie. I am in no position to give advice to anyone. It is a pity that some of you do not adopt the same approach. With that, I would also like to thank all those who have contributed to this thread, yes TraderMojo, even you and the others that try to hinder my progress. I am willing to forgive and forget. Cheers.

I PM'd him at the start of this thread because I thought he was serious about discussing Coffee and options.

He's now taken to ignoring any serious posts and offering to forgive anyone who flames him as long as they give him a public apology. Wow.

Who is off topic now?

Quote from TraderMojo:

Just saw his posts about PMs. Didn't see that one coming...

Please tell me you were being ironic!

Actually, this thread is far funnier if you put Derivman on ignore and try to deduce what rubbish spews forth from everyone else's replys. :D

Derivman/ateht/bulldozer/CYOF/so-crates, et al, posted the following on FXStreet:

Re: R/Reward.[R/R]

There are 4 catagories of R/R in all the 60+ strats in options:~

1. Limited loss with limited gains.

2. Limited loss with Unlimited gains.

3. Unlimited loss with Limited gains.

4. Unlimited loss with Unlimited GAINS

Number 4 has piqued my interest. Been racking my brain on that one.

Anyone wishing to deluge this tool with donkey-porn should forward any/all to:
