Building a live account 2 - US$1,000 to more than US$200,000 in 30 years

This thread will showcase the progress of a $1,000 live account as I attempt to grow it into more than $200,000 in 30 years.

The live account is traded using a fully systematic trading system that uses no technical indicators on the 4 major currency pairs. The CAGR is expected to be around 20% with a maximum drawdown of at least 50% and a win rate of around 42%. Trades are typically held for a few days.

Date of inception: 14 May 2012

As additional money may be added to the live account from time to time, the measure of success will be the Value Added Monthly Index (“VAMI”) which tracks the growth of the initial $1,000 deposit.

VAMI as at 14 May 2012: 1000

This will be easy as the market is easily predictable. Too bad u dont have more money to use so u can make $200 mil instead of $200k

Good luck. In 30 years though you should be able to make more than 200k easily unless your going to withdraw whenever it gets over 1k. Good luck either way!

How is the market predictable?

If I could predict the market my trading would be significantly different.
