You seem to not understand the "way of the world". There has never been any "legal or moral justification" for one country to invade another....other than they "WANT their resources and believe they are strong enough to prevail in the conflict of taking them". Hitler's Germany tried to take over Europe so that German peoples would be able to flourish and expand... and to "have more room". Japan invaded China in the attempt to confiscate their resources and enslave their people. Europeans invaded North America, displacing the natives, to secure land... what once was the "natives' tribal lands". You know, like, where we live now... The United States of America? The Vikings pillaged and plundered to secure resources and slaves. The list goes on and on. It's the history of mankind. Invaders are EXPECTING SOMETHING THEY DESIRE FROM THEIR INVASION!

No different in principal from illegal immigrants violating American borders today!! The big difference in our case is (1) our own evil government encouraging and supporting the invasion and (2) stupid, brainwashed Lefty sheeple also supporting the government's invasion agenda... for all the wrong reasons... even though it will lead to their own destruction.

It drives me CRAZY..how stupid and brainwashed half of America is. It's like somebody put a gun to their collective heads, told them it was somehow a good thing and for their benefit.., and the sheeple said, "yeah, pull the trigger"! Sheesh!

Crimea Completes Fence on Border With Ukraine

Russia has finished constructing a 60-kilometer fence on the Crimean border with Ukraine.

In September 2017, the Federal Security Services (FSB) branch of the annexed Crimean peninsula announced an auction to build a two-meter high fence bordering Ukraine. According to reports at the time, the fence was estimated to cost over 200 million rubles ($2.8 million).

Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. Tensions between the two neighboring countries flared recently after Russian forces on Nov. 25 seized three Ukrainian naval ships and 24 sailors in the Kerch Strait separating the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, saying that the Ukrainian ships had breached its border.

Why should anyone propose a serious solution? I mean really, what is the left proposing? Business as usual. Do nothing of substance, watch the death and chaos while the border gets overwhelmed with more and more people. I am continually amused at the arrogance of Trump supporter’s letters to the paper claiming that they are doing the public a great service by providing “facts” to “allow the reader to think for themselves.” Gee thanks, but I didn’t ask for your self righteousness to invade my reading space.

Oh yes, I know, freedom of speech — and that’s your right. Here’s mine then. If you need at least a quarter page of valuable newspaper space, capital letters every other sentence, numerous links, misspellings, and a monopoly on the letters section to try make your point, please try to recognize the fact you aren’t. FYI: there was/is a net outflow of immigrants from America since the Great Recession.

All of this talk about illegal immigration being some major issue in America is garbage. The wall is a made up gimmick that was a sound bite at rallies.

Rewriting the immigration laws to give all of the immigration power to corporations and industrialists is of no benefit to Americans here and will simply allow businesses to give immigrants of their choosing a ticket into the American middle class.
 
A country that was serious about enforcing immigration laws would of course have an effective physical barrier, but it would also remove the economic magnet drawing immigrants.

A few simple steps would make it virtually impossible for illegal immigrants to survive here. Mandatory e-verify would be at the top of the list, coupled with bans on illegals accessing any government assistance programs, bans on states issuing drivers' licenses or any other form of ID and bans on banks and financial institutions from opening accounts for anyone who cannot prove they are legal residents.

Seasonal workers, tourists and legal business and student visitors need to be tracked more closely to insure they do not overstay. If UPS can track millions of packages each year, there should be a way of doing this. One way is to require valid documentation to do any of the things associated with residency, eg opening bank accounts, renting or buying property, etc. Another is to heavily fine companies that hire people who abscond or cut back the number of workers they can sponsor.

None of this will happen because the elites running this country do not want it to happen. Perhaps they will change their minds when we have turned into Brazil and they have to live in compounds with barbed wire fences and hire private security to take their kids to school.
