I like to do a 1000 meters as a general warm-up before beginning my workouts. Not breaking any speed records, takes about 5 minutes but it gets the blood flowing and joints/muscles loosened up. I wonder what some sprints on it would do as a closer instead of battle ropes. Maybe I'll give it a try.
I also have at time done the 1000 or 2000 meter at a decent pace for stamina. More fun than jogging.
I like the sprints because they really pump your heart and high intensity. Also give over all body workout.
Also better workout the sprints. So many benefits.
Shoot for 2 minutes on 500 meters. Do first one at an easy pace to warm up and then do 2 or 3 with 3 to 4 minutes rest in between.
