Seriously consider joining the Air Force and become an officer. If you want to fly take a look at this website. My son is a C-17 pilot stationed at Hickham AFB, Hawaii and as you might guess loves it.

The competition is tough but based on what you wrote you sound like you could handle the academic side of it anyway but If you don’t want to fly there are still a ton of very cool jobs.

This website can answer any questions you might have about being an AF office and pilot. Actual AF pilots hang here and they’ll be more than happy to help. Just remember these are some of the most professional and no nonsense people you’ll ever meet so be likewise.

How about marring a girl, a Hindu girl or perhaps a Muslim girl from a respectable family? Don't they have casts still? Anyway, my post was not specifically about India, but in homogeneous places like SE Asia, China, Korea etc. Even in places where large expat contingents thrive, there is very little cultural acceptance.

How well do you think a muslim guy would do in alabama or missisipi? Or a black guy in north dakota? Your post is the pot calling the kettle black, buddy. I would suggest you actually travel to these places and judge the cities vs the countryside before you make more general sweeping statements. There is color and then there is 'color'.

Simply because it's not the successful who join the military. You're trying to make it sound like some noble cause - I believe they exist but are only less than 5% of the military personnel. Most risk their lives because they are adrenaline junkies and the army is as exciting as it can get. You sound like a tv ad voice from the 1940s.
