All else being equal, I think it's easier for shorter guys to lift more in relation to their weight. (Something to do with torque, perhaps?) And it wasn't quite double in my case, but close. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I'm quite short.I can’t bench twice my weight and never have.
As I mentioned somewhere earlier, I found the numbers to be a bit humbling, but you really feel worked at the end of the set. More so, I think, that using a "conventional" rep speed.
