International trade secretary Liam Fox, 20 July 2017: The free trade agreement that we will have to do with the European Union should be one of the easiest in human history.
Two years later they are still nowhere. Making this statement was easier then realizing it.
Tory backbencher and former minister John Redwood, 17 July 2016: Getting out of the EU can be quick and easy- the UK holds most of the cards in any negociation.
Three years later they are still nowhere. Redwood is a bad cardplayer I assume.
Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, 20 September 2016: To me, Brexit's easy. We have back British passports, we have control of our fishing waters, and our companies are not subject to EU law through the single market.

We are no a few hundred cups of coffee further and still nowhere. And the British were drinking them alone as the first meeting is still not planned.
Brexit secretary David Davis, 14 July 2016: We can do deals with our trading partners, and we can do them quickly. I would expect the new Prime Minister on 9 September to immediately trigger a large round of global trade deals... I would expect that the negotiation phase of most of them to be concluded within 12 and 24 months.
Three years later they are still nowhere. Not a single trade deal was made with anybody, and there were even no meetings to start these negotiations. The new Prime Minister could not find the trigger probably.
David Davis (again), 4 February 2016: Within minutes of a vote for #Brexit CEO's would be knocking down Chancellor Merkel's door. Demanding access to the British market.

Three years later people start to understand what a BS this statement is.
Environment secretary Michael Gove (then justice secretary), 1 June 2016: "We have four years more or less between now and date of next election. We can easily conclude a new settlement with EU in that period."
Three of these four years are already gone and the UK is still nowhere. And new election might be announced in the next few days, so the fourth year will then never happen. Gove forgot to use the word "easy"
Former Conservative and UKIP MP Douglas Carswell, 8 June 2016: "I think we could easily get a better trade deal than we have at the moment".
Yes, we see how easy it is. Three years later they are still nowhere.
Then UKIP leader Paul Nuttall, 17 January 2017: "It will be easy to negotiate a trade deal, and of course, it's in the European Union's interests, just as it is in ours."

All these morons above (JSOP:morons with one o before the r and one o after the r, and s at the end as it is plural) are so called "experts" that just copy statements from each other as they are afraid for their position at the next elections. They have no clue and think they should best copy and confirm the statements to keep their place safe as it is less riskly then to go against the flow. $$$$$$$$ It is clear that they all have no clue at all about the real Brexit. A typical herd behavior: follow the herd and don't dare to think yourself.
The British were clearly lied to, and things were not presented as they are. A new referendum or new elections would be a logical step to cancel the referendum full of lies, cheating and ignorant politicians.
@JSOP can you tell us what EASY/EASILY means in the UK, because I have the impression that the UK definition is different from the rest of the world. You are driving on the left side and we drive on the right side of the road, so maybe easy in the UK means difficult in the EU... Just a thought.

PMI goes up when you have to stockpile for a known disaster which everyone with any brain at all knows is on the way for the U.K.! While you're cherry picking from that universe of numbers why don't you quote the latest UK consumer confidence number, -23. Yes, that's a minus before the 23, down from -15 last month. As opposed to positive 10.4 for Germany, and positive 87 for France....
So far pretty much every prediction of the Brexit fanboys hasn't happened. Meanwhile, those of us who are unbiased outside observers have said from day 1 that the rest of the EU would tell the UK not to let the door hit them on the ass on their way out, which is exactly what happened. The only question at this point is how long the fanboys can continue to deny basic reality the rest of the world can clearly see.
The Europeans have a saying... Make them vote until they get it right! Hopefully no deal prevails, we are almost there Visaria, Farage & Co have got to keep the pressure strong
