Traders around the world are being drawn into this drama and they will be jittery tonight, I suppose that's to be expected. On a night like tonight upcoming, the futures could reverse direction with a big move in the blink of an eye.
One thing I think might be worth pointing out that no one has mentioned through all of this, probably because it hasn't crossed the minds of 99% of the traders out there.... but on a night like tonight, say an hour or so into the European session when the most money is on the table.... it's the perfect setup for someone or some operation to release a well done, well planned out, deepfake video to induce panic. The more sophisticated the origin, the more damage it could do.
Not saying it's gonna happen, but if nefarious actors have ever contemplated such a thing... now would be the time to let it fly.

This is like few of us have ever seen.This is not like 2000 or 2008 . The world has changed forever .Putin is cornered financially. Nobody will ever accept him again . It’s entirely possible if he feels cornered and a depression comes to his economy he lashes out with nukes. Hell anything’s possible.
There is a lot of fake news being circulated out there and you have to ask the $10,000,000 question, why are they (hacks on cable TV) saying these things? Who stands to benefit from the disinformation? This is an opportunity to make monies but, be smart. I look only at the StockCharts for clues. Any news that comes out later, if it confirms what I already see on the StockCharts is just icing on the cake. If on the other hand, it contradicts what the StockCharts are showing, I count it as fake, worthless news. Stockcharts are the most objective way to view the Stockmarket. All the traders and investors participation is already baked into the StockCharts. That is why I do not watch CNBC, Bloomberg, etc. Full of garbage lies and disinformation. It has no value in anyone's trading.

A rogue Treasury Agent turned cyber criminal creates fake videos about the White House being blown up and performs a "fire sale" of the US infrastructure grid and downloads all the financial transactions of the world. It's a pretty interesting movie.
So maybe to avoid nuclear war and survive we don't want to corner Putin?
Just a thought on Scholz saying Germany will enter a new era of military spending. Now you can’t build an army in a few months using recruitment agencies (pun intended) but this is a process of years, if not decennium.
