Someone related a story to me that supposedly happened early last century. Don't know if it is true or not.
This had to do with terrorists too and this general captured a lot of them. Then when he had bound them to the stake he led in a number of pigs, slaugthered them and had the bullets rolled in the pigs fat.
He shot the lot except for one. The dead were buried and the pigs intestines were dumped on top of the dead before covering up the graves.
The terrorists were now terrorized: Even if they died as martyrs they would not go to heaven.
The survivor was allowed to "escape" and relate the story to his brethren.
Stability apperently returned to the region for the next 50 years.
Perhaps a suggestion as bombing campain? Pigs can be trained too, much better than dogs I have been told. perhaps we should replace the airmarshalls on the planes too, must be cost effective. (just kidding)

I don't usually bet, but if I was to bet on Osama's existence, I'd say the chance is 98% that he's looong dead. That's pretty good odds for a bet.
Osama, in late 2001(!) was so sick of diabetes (and probably secondary osteoporosis as well), it looked like his kidneys had already totally failed, he had to be on dialysis constantly, would not live even a few days without dialysis machine, which requires constant electricity, clean water, and sterile environment, something pretty hard to get if you're on the run hiding in caves. This man was seriously sick, it looked like he had a few months to live, in 2001... We have... umm... 2004? Give me a freaken break!

The hunt for Osama is yet another great lie and distraction fabricated by the GWB "administration", as an excuse to start wars and wreck havoc all over the planet and make up lies about supposed masterminds of terrorism and weapons of mass-destruction [possibly the world's single biggest hipocrisy], all the while blowing the budget and driving the economy into ruin.
In light of the circumstances, I have nothing against America, I just feel sorry for them having to suffer under this administration. Anybody in doubt of that should perhaps do some good balancing and analysis on federal budget, to get an idea what's actually really going on. After all, we are traders, and that is part of our business.
What will the future bring for America? Well, there's a totally blown budget, more rapidly growing national debt (ridiculous quantities held by super-power China as it turns out), growing personal debt, whoppingly growing crime, rapidly strengthening neighbour-economies (Euroland, Japan, China), international trade problems, weakening political & diplomatical position, the dependence on eastern (islamic) economies for oil supplies, increasing military maintenance and obsolence costs, etc etc just to name a few. But yeah. We are traders and can always go long the Euro or Yen. Don't worry, be happy!

When President Bush took office in January 2001, the White House was told that Predator drones had recently spotted Osama bin Laden as many as three times and officials were urged to arm the unmanned planes with missiles to kill the al Qaeda leader.
But the administration failed to get drones back into the Afghan skies until after the Sept. 11 attacks later that year
