I think the tests are harder than a normal IQ test, so the average persons results should be similar to a German Shepherds.

5(x+y)-50 = 10x so
5x+5y-50=10x
5y-50=5x
x=y-10
x-y+10=0
10x-10y+100=0

subtract the bolds
( 10x-9y=0 ) - ( 10x-10y+100=0 )
-y+100=0
y=100

10x=9y=9(100)=900
x=90

5x+5y=5(90)+5(100)=950

subtract the rate deficit
950-(10x5)=900
whew!
