Books on technical analysis that have simple trading systems in them

Just seen you've been a member on ET for sometime, so clearly you're not new to the trading environment. Excuse my previous post if it looked like I was talking to a new trader.....but the book recommendations still stand.

Quote from Chuck Krug:

I emailed Mark Douglas and didn't expect a response.
To my surprise I got a response from Paula Webb
and she recommended these sites:
tradingliveonline.com
woodiescciclub.com
hawkeyetrading.co.uk
tradethemarkets.com
tradingtutor.com
sharefinder.com.au

Don't know the others, but woodiesclub and hawkeyetrading are useless.

Woodie has followers but not consistent profits

Quote from eveningtrader:

If you going to read one book, this is the book you read. You can finish it in a few hours in you read fast. No more than a weekend.

It's a complete system, and the mistakes he made before he come up with this.

How I Made $2,000,000 In The Stock Market by Nicolas Darvas

http://www.amazon.com/How-Made-000-...d_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1212094813&sr=8-1

Whether or not it was valid back then, you will get smoked following his footsteps in today's market.

And I wouldn't exactly consider that a system. "I saw stocks rising out of the stinking morass of the low liquidity garbage heaps... and let it all ride on one that looked like it was breaking out on volume." Then repeated that 2 or 3 times, compounded quickly to 2 million.

While the book is inspirational in some ways, it can also get you annihilated, if you follow it's recipes.

Decided to trade the system on michael covel's book on p272

In his backtesting it yields 11% and has a max drawdown of 38.6%. An average of 26 trades/ year.
Am currently long spy from 141 with a stoploss at 135

Does anyone know of a (similar) system for intraday trading?
