The private bankers are not going to let their right to print digital U.S. dollars, at will and in any quantity, go down the drain.

Democrat voters are the ones who will be hurt must by a govt shutdown. Not Rs.

How do we know... look at how the Dems have tried to get to the Rs... but shutting down parks and memorials.

Now that would be something to think about.

It has been suggested that was the dems plan the whole time.

I would have thought it was a plan if I was not familiar with how beholden obama pelosi and reid are to the insurance companies.
They let the insurance companies dictate the terms of obamacare.
So it is unlikely the dems will suggest single payer now.
Although if they did some Rs would vote for it.

Working tax paying america knows it is being screwed by obamacare in favor of the insurance companies.
Instead of more competition there is now less.

The insurance companies are dividing up the territory and using obamacare to create regional monopolies.... govt sanctioned monopolies.

Americans would not be screwed if it were single payer.
Well not so painfully directly anyway... it would be just another set of defense contractors.

You're right! I did say that. Ceteris Paribus, he wins by not negotiating with them. But if he can negotiate the public option back into Obamney (of course they'd have to kill Max Baucus first) in exchange for no employer mandate, then it is no longer ceteris paribus. The Ebeneezer Baptist Church Choir can Sing the first and last stanzas of the Battle of Hymn of the Republic in the White House Rose Garden, accompanied by the Marine Band, Bonehead and Chickenbrain (you decide which is which) can pop up and say they have reached a win-win deal, the First Dog can crap on a Rose, and everyone can go home happy except Baucus and the K-Street Insurance Lobbyists.
