I just spent 15 minutes reading about the origin of .762 ammo.
The other day my brother in law said why would any want an AR type gun. He said its just ridiculous. (he is not against guns as far as I know because his brother hunts and hid dad had hunting guns in the house.)
2 years ago I might have agreed with him.
this time I said I dont think most ar are purchased for home defense they are purchased to protect against govt failiure or to keep the govt in line.
He did not have much to say.
So now I feel like I should by one since I do not have one...
If shtf after an earth quake or a fukishima and society brakes down and I don't have one, I will be a bit ticked at myself.
