Just curious but why did most of you vote for Bush? TWICE!
We in Australia are baffled as to why so many very poor people vote for a Republican president such as him.

Maybe because there were no viable alternative candidates to vote for.

We in the U.S. are baffled as to why so many poor Australians would be baffled about someone else's elections and politicians. Do you not have enough of your own problems to worry about?

Shorting is suicidal and immoral. I am paper trading right now, my staff and I are serious PT's. WE donot mess around. You would be wise to learn from how we do it.

You need to learn technical analysis and not your voodoo strategies of DOOM and GLOOM. Where does it get you? A $20 motel room and a noose?

Economy is BOOMING, look at the numbers. Look at peoples smiling faces outside on your local main street. Bush couldnt be doing a better job, he is giving people free money to help out. What a great country!

Just a minor correction for the record. Bush was only elected once, not twice.

Not a few people think even his one election in Nov., 2003 was stolen.

Even after this "stolen" report, another tally was done that was not the official one and Bush was still ahead.

And the Democrats wanted to "count every vote" - ie, keep recounting until one showed they were ahead, and then of course, stop.

There are close elections. That is life. It is hard to get accurate counts when there are millions of votes and it is close. Does the person who wins by 10 votes have a mandate?

The only way to get rid of this problem, is to get rid of the electoral college.

Ok, the economy is blooming and yet very few college graduates can get even find a job. Workers are get laid off like crazy on Wall Street.

Also, I guess Bush is doing such a good job because his approval rating has gone up so much (sarcasm) correct?

The market will DEFINATELY drop MORE than 10% but will probably take a few weeks to get there.

I believe the whatever the Federal Reserve does it cannot stop the S&P falling 15%+ over the next month.

The American economy will implode before the end of the year.
It will take a decade to recover AT LEAST.

Whatever happened to Pauline Hanson?

I would take any poll with a grain of salt - they usually only interview 1,000 people (out of 300 million or so).
That being said, you left out the link that includes congress' dismal 18% approval rating.
