Don't you love these guys that come up with threads saying "Bitcoin Pounded again" yet as an investment, its still up higher than any stock or commodity YoY.

Whats that? Bitcoin went from being up 4000% in a year to only 2,000%? Definitely not worth the hassle. Let me go back to trading AAPL where I can have some real gains! Like 20%! WOOT

I wanted to start a thread SPX vs. BTC, because I think this will be the year when the market will beat bitcoin's advancement. I thought this 6 weeks ago too, not just now when BTC is already down 25% and the market is slightly in the green...

I am not saying the market will close positive for the year, I am saying it will outperform BTC year to date by the end of the year....

It's all relative to where you (or a hypothetical investor) bought in.

I know nothing of bitcoins but did CNBC just show a chart with a last quote at around $165 ?? Or maybe my eyes deceive me.

Online resources show it in the 500's, hell at close to 100 it might be a worthwhile GAMBLE.
