I did not sell near the top of bitcoin, actually started selling btc when it was around $42K which is 35% off the peak price of bitcoin
I got the sell-signal from my paid subscription service plus the person who I think is the most intelligent person on ET, no offense to other high-IQ ET posters
Even though I did not sell top, I benefited from liquidating my crypto portfolio at favorable price
I de-risked from being all-in all of our net worth into crypto to having cash for many years, in case we enter a multi-year bear market. I quit my job early this year
I will be paying a lot in taxes next year since my cost-basis is very low, it's the cost of de-risking and cashing out
I started buying btc again at mid $30K, then $29-30K and $46K. All btc purchases are on the bitcoin price thread
Bitcoin is the majority core holding. I won't mention other holdings to not shill them
current btc position as of today worth over $1M since we're over $50K:

Top level summary for 18th May 2021 (current price $44.0k):
- Medium term: There’s been a tidal wave of coins that’s been dumped into exchanges to be sold; this trend has not yet reversed. It’s UNLIKELY we will see a sharp recovery under this lens, there’s simply been too much selling.
