you must have good foresight.

I can only see the rising channel / rising trend line.

I really don't have good foresight, it's just a good opportunity here IMO. You will benefit long term when buying near support and selling near resistance. At the moment it could well turn out to be a double top. Often pullbacks occur close to 50% of retracement, which was 48, it hit 50 and pulled back twice now.

right.
definitely for day trading, there are opportunities to short it.

I know you sold near the last top....did you get back in at decent price?

I did not sell near the top of bitcoin, actually started selling btc when it was around $42K which is 35% off the peak price of bitcoin

I got the sell-signal from my paid subscription service plus the person who I think is the most intelligent person on ET, no offense to other high-IQ ET posters

Even though I did not sell top, I benefited from liquidating my crypto portfolio at favorable price

I de-risked from being all-in all of our net worth into crypto to having cash for many years, in case we enter a multi-year bear market. I quit my job early this year

I will be paying a lot in taxes next year since my cost-basis is very low, it's the cost of de-risking and cashing out

I started buying btc again at mid $30K, then $29-30K and $46K. All btc purchases are on the bitcoin price thread

Bitcoin is the majority core holding. I won't mention other holdings to not shill them

current btc position as of today worth over $1M since we're over $50K:

When I completed de-risking on May 19:

I'm done selling, got enough funds to last many years and hope there is a next bull market cycle

...Hope everyone invested in cryptos are doing ok during this time...

I'm gonna hold 10 btc's along with some alts and no plans to sell. Sold the doge for a loss earlier today

Top level summary for 18th May 2021 (current price $44.0k):

  • Medium term: There’s been a tidal wave of coins that’s been dumped into exchanges to be sold; this trend has not yet reversed. It’s UNLIKELY we will see a sharp recovery under this lens, there’s simply been too much selling.

17 btc * $52k = $884 000.

you are now very rich.

Thanks, there's also 3 btc's on the Coinbase exchange. I might sell 1 when btc goes over $100K and another 1 at $200K, :D

good for you mister.

I am no expert at trading based on
fundamental / faith / belief / conviction.
You are good in those areas.
