Had not quite same on another board a few years ago, guy bragging about the millions of shares he traded daily - as a day trader. His point, volume, volume, volume = tendency to large gains [also claimed].
So yes, he was challenged to post All his trades......and did, in some form of live action as well as screen shots and copies of daily buys/sells,
fees, etc etc.
Turned out that he was telling the truth.

That doesn't counter the fact that it is possible in principle to lie about one's profits in the way that I laid out. I could buy 1,000 shares of XYZ at $50, then another 1,000 at $55, then sell 1,000 at $52 and then sell the other 1,000 at $49. Then I can post just the first and third trades and claim that I made $2,000 on XYZ when in fact I had a total loss of $4,000.
