I saw the first episode and while entertaining as a serial TV show, the acting is beyond atrocious not including Giamatti who is probably the only saving grace of the show. I guarantee you this show is going to veer faaaaar away from anything trading related going forward. It will absolutely be a glorified soap opera where the wife of Giamatti is going to fall for the bad guy. Come on guys, we all know where this is going. The best shows on TV in this category are the ones where you have no idea what's going on and enjoy the ride. The bar has been set pretty high by HBO with top notch talent. I have no idea why they couldn't cast someone better in the hedge fund role. For example, Steve Buscemi in Boardwalk Empire was lights out. That's the kind of talent you need. I doubt this show makes it past 6 episodes.

Most of the way through no.2 pretty good, intelligent.
