Billions

Your solution costs money. Plex is free and more convenient.
Huh? cost's money? what an HDMI cable? you need a computer to download, there are no additional costs. IF you have multiple computers you network them, if you don't it doesn't matter.

My initial comment was that Plex isn't necessary. Which it isn't.

Suggesting someone Torrents without advising the risks involved is irresponsible. That was the primary reason I responded to your post.. VPN, usenet, adware, Ugly copyright infringement letters... something people should be aware of.

Plex or not to Plex is personal preference....

DO NOT DOWNLOAD TORRENTS WITHOUT VPN - (one that doesn't maintain logs) PIA excellent

Be aware if you install utorrent you will need to scrub the bundled adware which typically installs "opencandy" upon installation and all updates... (deselect auto update in preferences) -
"NZB's are safer as an FYI"

Never forget (If a pirate will steal for you, he will steal from you)

Run in the following order to remove adware, browser hijackers etc...
(after your normal anti-virus scans)

1, Adwcleaner
2, JRT malwarebytes
3, Malwarebytes (do not install the free trial-will attempt at each update)
4, HitmanPro (second opinion anti-malware)
5, TDSKiller (another good product)

VLC media player to view the file (you don't need Plex)

I am not a big fan of anti malware software. Some are so sketchy and could easily get malicious code attached to them by someone who knows what they are doing. I prefer the vpn + firewall method and just monitor your traffic. Not letting an app execute and connect to root or the the web without your permission first is your best line of defense imo.

I'm glad the show got renewed for another season. Sure, you have to suspend disbelief at times but it delivers on the entertainment side. I also like the therapist role. A second best to Giamatti's character.

I agree, many programs are sketchy... I have an 11 yr old son and a wife who do not possess the best internet practice. Malwarebytes has become a trusted friend and necessary tool. I just finished scrubbing their systems, from their recent youtubing and surfing...

My trading computers are isolated and not at risk, but unfortunately I find it easier to just clean theirs than argue about their internet habits...

But anyone who uses utorrent will need to extract the adware and malware attached... so I provided a solution...

Regarding the show, I like it. I was a bit hesitant upon the opening golden shower, but luckily the show became entertaining...

I like the episode when he took the call about some Gold tip, his secretary apologized for putting the guy through and Ax said,

"no, that's ok, 1 out of 200 ideas he has is brilliant" I couldn't help but think of Marketsurfer...

Have now seen episodes 1-8.

I thought possibly a bit iffy at first, but from about episode 4 started to enjoy it. Like with most series, I think, it's a case of getting to know the characters.

Worth watching, IMO and getting scores of 8 on IMDB, so far at least.

Looks like season 2 is going to happen.

Really interesting psychological profiles in these characters. They've all sold their souls and are desperately trying to reconcile their actions. The end justifies the means has never be more evident. Knowing they deserve punishment they act out in self destructive ways, or just put themselves under the whip like Giamatti's character does.

I've really taken a liking to the show as well. They actually are spending time developing the characters and the acting is pretty decent after all. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. There are no pure good guys.
