There are ways around Democrats obstruction to a border wall. Take the matter out of their hands. Someone already said that the military has budgets for walls or other barriers for bases. Nothing stopping them from erecting walls which are by the border. Democrats cannot stop them if they did so! It would be on lands owned by the military. Also, states can on their own, shore up there borders, erect new walls provided they have a budget. Again, states like Texas for instance and other border states can do so! No need to ask for Democrats permission. Now, what President Trump should ask from the Democrats in the DHS budget is more monies for detention centers, more monies for transporting deportees back to their countries. I will ask President Trump to do all of these things. It is more practical, easier to do and Democrats cannot do a damn thing about it!

Best thing would be for Trump to go full savage, stop worrying about re-election, and to preserve his legacy as an Andrew Jackson rough animal. He will live in infamy after that as the guy/national hero who stood his ground and who tried to preserve the country against all odds. And every day- as happened in Germany- even after he is out of office, the immigrant invasion and the ruination of the country will only prove him right and confirm his folk hero status.

But wait.......there's more.....

And right now the dems feel that they have full leeway to nominate any old clown because they all think Trump is an easy kill, especially as events go against him with more to come. But Trump should just go full savage - let the polls be damned- just work on securing his place in history as the last defender against the immigrant invasion and the lefty trash that enabled it. AND THEN RIGHT BEFORE THE END OF HIS TERM ....announce that he will not be seeking re-election because he has completed his tour of duty. Funny would be dat!!!. Then switch in some republican candidate who is the opposite of whatever piece of shit the dems nominated thinking they were going to be running against Trump. That way Trump would also avoid defeat but also give the pubs some chance at the white house in some other form.

If one thinks that Trump can be re-elected then stay with that. None of us know. It for each of us to conclude how peppy things are looking or not as we go along. Just sayin for me, I would prefer to see him to go full savage and then pass the baton, rather than try to reduce all his policies to the lowest common denominator to survive. Right now, Trump is still under Jared's influence and thinks he is going to put some big macro comprehensive immigration giveaway plan together and then take that out on the campaign trail with a feather in his hat and a big smirk on his face about how he solved everything. Not gonna happen. The dems believe they can/and probably rightfully so, get everything they want by just running out the clock without giving anything. Better to get someone who can win against the dems in 2020, who will at least have veto power.

Y'all may recall when Arlen Specter caved into Obama and switched parties to become a dem after Obama promised him all sorts of bennies. Obama was just looking for another vote for Obamacare. Then when Arlen ran for re-election Obama abandoned him and stood back and watched him get clobbered, I think by a real dem in the primary, can't remember.

Someone said that Arlen Specter was like the guy on the Titanic who put on a dress so that he could get in the lifeboat with the women and children. Message to Trump: Don't go that route. Better to be defeated fighting the noble cause.

Yep. He has two moves, fold or go all in. Looking for a third alternative of trying to find some negotiable peace between him and his opponents will only further damage him, and more importantly, the nation
