I think the return of manufacturing part was a bit too optimistic.
I was concerned he wasn't going to explicitly ask all Americans to lean in, and he didn't, but he almost got there by the end. I think he should've asked for the sale, "will you help?"
And the part about where we have solved every crisis that we've faced when we've decided to do it as a nation united, that is so true. And also, that there is no other nation better poised than us to do it. I agree.

in fairness, the push was 2k before the 600 was approved so 1400 makes sense.
Biden is pushing a COVID relief program where huge portions of the money are being used to fund non-COVID initiatives. Basically Biden is packing in every pipe-dream and funding it as part of the $1.9T.
It includes everything from $15 minimum wage, green energy and many other Democratic initiatives -- all which have nothing to do with COVID relief and will never make it through the Senate -- there are Democratic Senators who will not back a large minimum wage hike (just ask their corporate donors).
Biden should significantly scale back his proposal and strictly focus on COVID relief -- vaccine distribution, unemployment pay, one time payments, medical support, etc.
At this point I don't know if Biden is just proposing a huge proposal with the plan being to entice Congress to pass a smaller one.... or if he actually has a fantasy that he can get his current proposal through Congress.

Ask yourself that question. We all have to think and judge based on what we read and hear from the media. You and I were not present during any of Biden's supposed criminal acts, nor at Trump's supposed criminal acts. One has to judge the source, and consider also the preponderance of reporting. You don't (want to) believe CNN, and I'm never going to believe Qanon's horseshit.
I assume that taking the vaccine will be voluntary, and that if it is not it will be business requiring it, not Biden, or government.
