Biden's best speech -- new

Your excuse making never fails to disappoint. Yep, the devil is always in the details. In the real world it's called bait and switch.
The bait and switch includes a bunch of other shit beyond the 2k$ check though? (minimum wage, jobs, etc...)

Joe Biden couldn't kick a dog's ass. He is a puppet. And a criminal. When are you all going to wake up and stop believing everything the television tells you?
He won the democrat nomination faster than Clinton,Obama or Clinton, kicked Trumps ass by 7 milion votes and got the most votes ever..while mostly from his basement.Thats some serious political ass kicking.

As far as being a criminal,Trump is far more likely to be behind bars than Biden ever will be.

Actually your 2000 dollar check just became 1400. Must have been some unexpected expenses come up.
Also when Joe talks about government healing the country, he really mean heeling the country.
The package proposal includes investing $20 billion in a national vaccination program, $1,400 stimulus checks
Biden introduces $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package that includes $1,400 stimulus checks (msn.com)

Alot of people are pissed about this. He's even being dragged on left wing sites like raw story for it.

Biden is pushing a COVID relief program where huge portions of the money are being used to fund non-COVID initiatives. Basically Biden is packing in every pipe-dream and funding it as part of the $1.9T.

It includes everything from $15 minimum wage, green energy and many other Democratic initiatives -- all which have nothing to do with COVID relief and will never make it through the Senate -- there are Democratic Senators who will not back a large minimum wage hike (just ask their corporate donors).

Biden should significantly scale back his proposal and strictly focus on COVID relief -- vaccine distribution, unemployment pay, one time payments, medical support, etc.

At this point I don't know if Biden is just proposing a huge proposal with the plan being to entice Congress to pass a smaller one.... or if he actually has a fantasy that he can get his current proposal through Congress.
Exactly. Let's just focus on a relief package for Covid. You see, it's when then bundle all this crap together knowing full well that it will create a food fight in Congress it leads people to believe they are not serious about solving the actual problem at hand. This is what also feeds the Covid ain't that serious belief because if it was so fucking serious then they would actually address the problem first hand without all the political gamesmanship. It just never changes with these guys, never.

They should be pissed. He isn't even in office yet and the games begin. Just take care of the people being hurt by Covid. Job one. Jesus, just once I'd like to be pleasantly surprised, just one fucking time.

Definitely needs to cut this shit down.IMO far to much money has been spent on this already.Extending regular unemployment benefits (no extra 3-4 hundred a week) beyond their normal time limit is all that should have been spent on this imo.

I am with you on this. The majority of people don't need direct payments. With the last round of direct payments; 40% of people merely put the money in the bank, 30% spent the money on "wants" such as large screen T.V.s order online, and only 30% spent the money locally.

They should allocate the COVID relief money to people who are unemployed or underemployed due to COVID -- and increase the unemployment payments to match what they previously earned (but not go above it) -- extending the payment timeline for up 52 weeks minimum.

Likewise most of the PPP money given to corporations were a waste. PPP loans/grants should be limited to small businesses with not more than $2M in revenue.
