That's a crude misuse of statistics given that most black people are law-abiding citizens. I am sure law-abiding black people (who are coincidentally part of the 15% you cite) would take umbrage with your intentional misuse of statistics.
Why should a black person who has never committed a crime, who is studious, and a contributing member of society carry the burden of a black thugs?

Many IT companies are catching on. Google recently sponsored a Coursera IT certification that can lead to employment in the company as a IT professional. Some hiring managers will value a Github repository of demonstrated work over a college degree.
Unfortunately, those IT companies are in the minority.

Truth be told, I don't particularly care for people in general. Most people would step on you in a heartbeat if it got them ahead an inch. Anyone who has actually struggled knows this to be true. They aren't out there virtue signaling how heartbroken they are for a bunch of crybabies who are lazy and never actually suffered any real pain in life. Anyone who has suffered real pain gives the people crying about how hard they have it and their "struggles" zero fucks. Why? Because they came up in the worst and have no pity for others who are too weak and lazy to do it for themselves. We don't have magical powers or some edge. We just did what we had to to do it. We either had the choice to commit crime or manage our circumstances, and either was a risk. The ones who have never actually been through real struggles are the ones who so desperately seek validation from the ones they think are suffering. This doesn't apply to sick/ disabled kids, handicapped, etc who do not have a choice in their circumstances. This applies to those that are perfectly capable of making the choice to do right, get a job, and get out of the pit. These are the ones liberals are stupid enough to virtue signal for validation from. You think I had some great job? I've done fries, retail, day labor, and plenty of bullshit to stay afloat.
Charity? For me, it's animals. Once again, they do not have a choice in their circumstances. They don't have the kind of voices fighting for them like people do, not at any level anywhere close to it. They get beaten and either no one will ever know about it or care. They sit dead on the side of a road for days because some jackass PoS aimed for it and killed it because nothing will happen to them. They give this world everything and ask for nothing, and get shit on by this world. The funny part is liberals somehow think it's the lazy pieces of shit who contribute nothing to this world that deserve to be fought for while the real heroes walk on 4 legs. They are the ones who will love you no matter what or where you came from.
So in answer to your question, I don't give a fuck about those who refuse to do for themselves. Who are lazy pieces of shit. Who contribute nothing to society. Who are too lazy to do what it takes to get out of circumstances themselves. I did it, and so have plenty of others. So acting like those who can work but CHOOSE not to are somehow the victims that I should feel sorry for their struggles is a joke, and anyone who has actually been through bullshit and pulled themselves out of it will tell you the same.

My point is your misuse of statistics to slander an entire group of people. I don't see similar statistical arguments for whites (e.g., whites are x% of population, but are responsible for a disproportionate amount of unflattering behavior).
Further, I find your 1% of the population did over 150 years ago comment either ignorant, or a feeble attempt to be clever. That institution was sanctioned by the United States government, and benefited the white society (i.e., Homestead Act-- white immigrants got free land courtesy of the Indian, and free labor courtesy of the African). Further present day Capitalism was born out of that institution. I am not going to give you a History lesson. But people with minimal understanding of History get it.
While we are one the "X% of population but Y% of crime" blurb, let me point out that the comment implies some sort of quota system-- blacks are 15% of the population, therefore they shouldn't commit more than 15% of the crimes. I find that underlying assumption a bit odd coming from white conservatives since you all are adamantly against quotas.

If the quotas were actually fair maybe. How come Asians get penalized more yet represent less of the population? How come it's okay to penalize people who get both better scores or skill sets to meet quotas, except when it comes to sports? No quotas always seem to be only when it lands on the right side of a liberals arguments. Same with statistics. They only seem to apply when it fits the liberal narrative, otherwise "Hurr durrr racist!"
