Biden to Urge Federal Reserve to Take on Racial Wealth Gap

The part that you allow it to dictate your life choices and actions. The part that you allow it to define you. Are you denying free will exist? You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension as this is the 2nd time you have reinterpreted a post. He stated inner city violence is a choice, not being born into it.

Oh, ok, statistics and probability isn't a thing then

In case you all haven't connected the dots, black people have been used to promote a lot of nonsensical policies in our society, be it economic or social. They use blacks and other "protected groups" because, anyone who has any legit criticism can be silenced by simply calling them racist, homophobic, xenphobic, etc.

Before the predictable responses come, keep in mind that I'm black. I didn't grow up with a silver spoon. I grew up in Uptown New Orleans in the Melpomene Projects. One of the most dangerous areas in the country during it's existence. I used to be in the streets and all of that, jumped off the porch and started selling drugs at 13 years old, but guess what? I made the choice to do it. It had nothing to do with a system, the "white man" or any of that bullshit. I did all of the things I did because I wanted to. 99% of people who did the same things that I did, they did it for the same reason...because they wanted to.

This thing about there being no jobs or opportunities is a lie. What they don't wanna talk about is that there are jobs! However, people have a mindset of wanting to live the high life as quickly as possible, so they don't want the jobs that are available. Why? Because they want fast money and the streets give the illusion of being able to make fast money. A teenager doesn't want a job at a fast food joint because he believes that he can make $500 a night on the block.

That's what none of these people will tell you!

I'm so sick of the automatic struggle attributed to every person born with anything other than white skin and the auto privilege assigned to any person with white skin. I'm white and my mother left when I was an infant. Haven't seen her since. My father beat the shit out of me until I left at 17. I was in prison by 18 for 4 years of my life where I had nothing more than a job at Wendy's and a court appointed lawyer. When I got out in my early twenties I had nothing more than my GED and filled out an assload of applications for any crap job that would hire me. I got a job in a warehouse where I have worked for 17 years. I kept low to no debt and saved everything and invested in my own trading education, both in actual material as well as losses in the actual market. My success is because of perseverance and has fuck all to do with my skin color. I'd imagine 9 out of 10 minorities have had an easier life than I have yet are automatically attributed a life of struggle and oppression by liberals when chances are they have had far more opportunities in life in the name of diversity.

Most of my friends are minorities, but they know beyond a doubt I am right wing and we argue politics all of the time. They also know good and well I will take them to task if they try and pull any liberal bullshit white privilege argument with me. Data and statistics are not in their favor, or anyone here who would argue it is. They know I am a Trump supporter and the one thing they state outright is they like how even though we are on different sides of the political spectrum, and will debate the hell out of the subject, we get along easily at the end of it.

Enough of the virtue signaling. If you are going to argue something quit bringing emotional 'look at what a great person I am' quips and argue based on unbiased data and facts. That is the only true argument.

Well said.
Dividing people on something like race is absurd. So the black NBA player is not privileged but you apparently are. Logic has left the building for many.
Same goes for the Romanian immigrant in the US who has nothing and works menial jobs for decades. So much privilege.
I find it funny how the US goes from racist policies to now again racist policies.

But do you think perhaps it could have been different....?
If you were raised in an affluent society, functional parents and friends, great education, opportunities handed to you, loads of pocket money, opportunities to play team sports....?

again, my statement which you do not seem to filter is “ being born into inner city violence is not a choice” period. He is quoting me and that was the statement I made. You and numbnuts are the ones that can’t follow a simple thread.

The answer would obviously be yes, but the problem is that very few of the world's population actually grow up in affluence. I'm also not buying this idea that other groups have opportunities handed to them. Let black people and liberals tell it, the average white person (or anyone who isn't black) is no less than upper middle class and that's just not true. The average white, or non-black person, is a working class person earning an average of $50k a year, probably living paycheck to paycheck. So, what you're describing is a class thing and has nothing to do with race.

Agree, being delinquent has imo a lot to do with class, not everytime, just much of the time.
Saying that though, white collar crime is a type delinquency.

He stated
Inner city violence IS a choice. Drug use is a choice. Having babies by the age of 16 is a choice. People do not need to act that way. Unless you do not believe in free will of course.

I liked THAT comment. Then you said

Being born into inner city violence is not a choice. What part of that doesn’t compute with you or Bugsy?

By bringing me into it for liking that specific comment you are stating I am in disagreement with your moronic statement, as if anyone has a choice where they are born. I liked his comment because I agree with his comment. So when I disagree with yours specifically then you can bring me into it. If you need to lean on skin color as an excuse for being a failure at life then that's weak. The majority of liberal minorities and white people I see crying are the ones who mommy and daddy did for and came from a privileged upbringing in middle class society. It was their parents or their parents that actually did the struggling while the one crying never went through shit. They just ride their parents or grandparents struggles because they are insecure and need attention. That's why they are constantly shouting about how charitable they are or desperately trying to get a pat on the head from any minority who will validate them. It's pretty fucking pathetic to be honest.
