2 workers to do the job that 3 used to do for the same price over. So yea increased productivity from those who don't get fired.
People don’t work harder because they get paid more. People get paid more because they work harder.
2 workers to do the job that 3 used to do for the same price over. So yea increased productivity from those who don't get fired.
Agree, that sounds fair. But I am afraid business will simply push those additional costs onto customers. As they did with the entire restaurant and hospitality industry. I hate nothing more than tipping.
In many EU countries prices are always ALL included by law. So no tipping, and the client knows exactly what he will pay as prices have to be visible on menu cards...
Why tipping? Do you do that for your car maintenance, if you buy food, if you go to the doctor, for teachers in school???
...Eventually, robots and computers will be replacing most low-skill jobs anyway.
Robots replace most jobs and everyone gets a basic living wage and more time to think about art or something equally as BSy and they'll be happier is the Great Reset plan kinda.
I agree that is how it should be. Now waitresses profile patrons and eyeball which ones look wealthier and potentially open their wallets more. Now even a peaceful meal outside turns into an economic competition. Where the fuck are we humans descending to.
Well they will not go hungry for long before they start implementing the street income equality programs. And nobody wants to get off assistance so that they work slave jobs and end up with same money after taxes, but with worse medical insurance. And then tell those who are able to work to get a job or go hungry. There is a job for EVERY AMERICAN WHO WANTS ONE.
