Fox News cut this presentation right before this happened. How disgraceful - from a historical perspective alone.
I get mine from the U.K. Price includes shipping and its have the price that my co-pay alone is with insurance. I get the brand name rather than the generic. So Trump signed 4 EOs. Not as sweeping as he lauds them to be, a couple have no teeth and a couple will do some good. Here’s what actually happened:
1. asking drug companies to develop a plan to lower drug prices. This EO took the place of an EO the White House was mulling to tie medicare drug prices to European prices (dirty socialists seem to get things cheaper. Kind of makes you wonder but that another topic)
2. Ends drug maker rebates to insurance companies which never really brought drug prices down for consumers but padded both insurance company and drug maker profits. Oh did I mention the rebates are still in effect if insurance companies show a loss, and it’s so haaaard to show a loss or just raise premiums.
3. All ones for consumers to buy drugs from the socialist countries. ( which is actually good)
4. If insulin and epipens are negotiated at a lower price some of those savings have to be passed to the consumer. Not as big as he could have done but net/net good.
so if you’re a consumer of medicine you can get your drugs from Canada or mexico.
What part of 'no president has done more to lower drug prices than Donald Trump' do you disagree with?So Trump signed 4 EOs. Not as sweeping as he lauds them to be, a couple have no teeth and a couple will do some good. Here’s what actually happened:
