I see that the media is circling around Kamala Harris as the pick as we get toward the announcement which some are saying is next Saturday.
Susan Rice is up there and Joe has worked with her for years, but she got problems, not just Benghazi, she is also caught up in some of the stuff that Trump will dump from Durham's investigation- plus she has never been elected to any office and has lived in the beltway her entire life except for a year at Oxford or something. She would probably be a better pick than Skankala nevertheless but they gotta do what they think is the lowest common denominator for all the issues on the table.
So- just assuming he picks Kamala- then the dems would be following the same track as with Joe. ie. Joe came on the scene and then the dems worked there arses off and chewed through 30 candidates and they could not find anything there so settled for less. Ditto for this whole VP process.
As with the primaries, Skankala will have a good run for a couple weeks, then she begins to fray on the trail and get cackley like Hillary and her demeanor looks like she is punchdrunk as she tries to make all her various conflcting statement work. And she did not draw many votes in the primary, and she is a good target for Camp Trump based on all the stupid positions she has held at various times.
Despite all her problems he would be nuts to pick Skank over Rice. But if that is what he has to do, then go for it. As I say over and over and over- they all have big problems.
Ya already cringe a little when you here the media saying that if she is chosen she would be the first black vp but also "the first Asian Indian" candidate. You can sense the black community just going "WTF." Her father was from Jamaica or the Bahamas, can't remember. He was a phd professor at Stanford, and the mother was a phd/md medical researcher. I mean we are not talking about a black descended from cotton sharecroppers in Alabama and who were part of the American civil rights experience. Oh, that's right. Joe Biden made the little girl ride the bus over to whitey's neighborhood so that she could get an education. My bad.
WHERE THERE IS A WILLIE, THERE IS A WAY!!!!!! Kamala's campaign slogan.
