Again, this argument is more appropriate in a Republican primary. Just because Biden took down Warren doesn’t necessarily mean her former supporters are now his.

Okay, well you seem to not be able to understand- or it is not convenient for you to understand- that I was pushing back on your assertion that Biden somehow had learned to hunt or demonstrated that he could.

Biden may have done some damage and then watched someone else take his kill home and devour it. Maybe you are arguing that Joe is able to go out on the hunt to help someone else???? Is that your point?

I was just looking again at the most recent polling data that - once again- shows Joe Biden as the clear leader.

After reviewing this, I want to change my position and statement about doubling down on my prediction that Joe will not ultimately be the nominee. The data is just crystal clear that he is currently in a lead in a majorly way.

Therefore, I wish to triple down on it rather than just double-down. No way Biden will be the nominee.

Deval Patrick beefs up campaign staff

Former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D) has hired several key staffers in the wake of his late entry into the already-crowded 2020 Democratic field, according to a press email, released by his campaign.

Two former staffers for now-defunct presidential campaigns are joining Patrick’s campaign, with Aleigha Cavalier, an alumna of former Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s (D-Texas) presidential campaign, joins Patrick as communications director.

Campaign manager Abe Rakov, who previously served as a senior adviser to the O’Rourke campaign, was the only campaign staffer already announced.

Samantha Joseph, former national operations director for Rep. Seth Moulton’s (D-Mass.) presidential campaign, meanwhile, will join the Patrick campaign as director of states, according to the press release.

Chelsie Ouellette, who served as speechwriter and deputy press secretary for Patrick when he was governor, will join the campaign as national organizing director. Porsha White, national political director for the voting rights group Let America Vote, will serve as the campaign’s deputy political director.

Well, this is true. But that does not mean that he is absolutely hands-off.

He has set some guidelines and guardrails that make it clear to the candidates that they can do whatever they want but that he will be lashing out at them if they say anything that diminishes the magnanimity of his legacy.

We saw this when some of the candidates started - in regard to immigration/deportation and some other things- saying at the debates and elsewhere that the Obama administration was retro and not something they wanted to duplicate or be happy about. Yup, Obama and his minions and lackeys put an end to that overnight. Not the way to go. Outside the guardrails.

Then we recently saw that again when some of the candidates started trash- talking Obamacare and that it was too retro and broken to fix. Nope, outside the guardrails again and he piped right up and the "too far left" lecture was unloaded. It is okay to talk about Enhanced Obamacare that keeps Barry as the founder of american public health care which just needs some tweaks and upgrades, but it is not okay to scrap it or portray it as not being bold or needing to be replaced outright. Obama will stay in his cave as long as the candidates follow the rules. Otherwise, he will unload some lecturettes which are clearly identifying violators without naming them.
