It has become a commonplace: The notion that many people who voted "Leave" in the EU referendum now regret their vote because they didn't think "Leave" would win or they didn't realize the consequences of leaving the Single Market would be so bad.
If you search for "Brexit I didn't think it would happen" you get dozens of stories about hapless voters who thought they were merely casting a protest vote, not fundamentally altering the economic and constitutional basis of the entire country.
The country voted to leave the EU as a protest to the loss of national identity...but now regrets having done so... and it's all the idiot Farage's fault.
It's one thing to complain about the current situation, it's another to have a better solution. Farage never did... neither does Trump.

On Monday and Tuesday the Republican candidate outshone his rival in terms of both the number and the volume of wagers, according to figures Ireland's largest bookmaker Paddy Power Betfair Plc tweeted on Tuesday evening. Just shy of 100,000 euros ($111,000) in bets came in, with 91 percent of that for Trump.
