Best Foods to Eat (Health-wise)

Nah, dish was $40, fish accounted for the majority of that price otherwise the menu would have said "Edamame and Black Bean mix w/ a side of Alaskan Black cod", which it didnt say. Once again saint, your framing is off because your whole view of things is slanted to only what you believe.

those are smothered in butter:D

Did you read my post. What part of "Fresh" and "Steamed" didn't you understand. Unless my wife is secretly adding butter to the "Fresh" veg I put into the bag, then it is butter free. Hmmmm, maybe you're right!

she might know you won't eat it otherwise, ask her:D

Huh? It's a plastic bag, thats all!! It's just an alternative way of steaming that seems to lock in more flavor (or brings out more flavor). Would you like me to provide a link to what the bag looks like, and the nutritional values of such a plastic bag?

yes, a link. thanks

btw, how do the veggies come out.. crunchy or real soft?

From what I gather from the majority of posters that have contributed is that moderation is really the key. A diet geared towards whole grains, fresh veggies/fruits, some meat and fish and stripped of most processed foods is really where its at.

"moderation", sounds great doesn't it. but how do you actually define it in terms of portions and frequency? and what is your nutritional basis for your choice?

moderation to a 2pack/day smoker is maybe one pack/day/ is that going to do much good?

I was sarcastic about the link. They are just Glad Microwave Bags. When you're picking up you're daily bottle of Vodka at the Supermarket, go a few aisles down to where they sell things like sandwich bags, aluminum foil etc...They should be there.

They will come out whatever way you want them to, based on the length of time you steam, just like any other method of cooking. I think the method of cooking is similar to using a pressure cooker.
