Best City For Traders

Are you american? Can you just pick up and move to Kharkov for 3 yrs? Did you have to go through a bunch of red tape to do this? I think in some european countries an American can stay up to 3 months when I did some research a few yrs back(don't quote me on this). I'm sure it is better there than in Vegas especially the summer. Not too mention better woman there and not just in the looks dept.

I Have been living and trading fulltime in Kharkov for the last 3 years. [from Las Vegas] Came here originally to visit a friend, Decided to stay for a while. The women are amazing ! I have never seen so many beautiful women in one city in my whole life ! Its a "Russian city" most here consider themselves Russian not Ukranian. Cost of living was much less than USA when I came here. Over the years prices for apartments have been climbing...as well as food prices. It took some time to get a good internet connection, But overall I have not had any problems trading from here, The time zone was a little different for me, It does give you the option of trading European or USA markets within a normal day. As far as the "quote above" Its not a problem here....I have not seen or heard of it at all since I have been here, Its more common in Kiev.

So i think before 2009 is out i'll have enough money to trade full time.

I'm 24 and have B.A. and i would like to gather some career traders opinions on which city would be the best to move to.

Trading is pretty solitary so i'd like to move to a city where it's kinda busy and easy to get out and be social.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

My preference is for hilly or mountainous areas with lots of trees, wild areas and plenty of rivers, streams and lakes.

Love this!

Not a camper.
Where's the best of both?

Trader Monthly magazine

That magazine was f-ing awesome (If you're a total douchebag).

Never seen so many wannabe losers try to act like king shit. Total worthless rag, surprised it didn't go out of business sooner.

P.S.- The top traders "Under 30" issues were especially hysterical. Would love to see a follow up on some of those "star" (LMAO) traders.

Upstate New York or Auburn, California ( 3/4 of way to Lake Tahoe on Sierras).
