Best City For Traders

It's possible that I am a douche bag then. I found the magazine to be a refreshing read from time to time, as opposed to all the other trading related magazines which just rehash the same TA theory issue after issue. Though I have to admit the magazine was almost comically pretentious and arrogant.
 
I want to trade from a location with trees, lakes, hunting, fishing, hockey, MMA clubs, low taxes, fast internet, and much to offer in regards to my children and their growing up with ample opportunites.

Any suggestions?

I was going to ask something similar. Many times when people think of "paradise" an island comes to mind. Any Island traders out there?
 
One of several issues that comes to mind when contemplating trading from anywhere in the Caribbean is potential for disruption due to hurricanes. Depending on how much infrastructure you have, it can become very difficult unless you can leave your equip at some mainland location.

Before you trade from anywhere other than Northern America i.e. US & Canada or Western Europe or Japan or Singapore etc., your 1st concern should be reliable source of electricity. I have traveled
extensively and even in some G20 countries electricity is not reliable.
 
Singapore. Tax friendly environment and solid infrastructure. Thinking of relocating there in a few yrs as that's where the wife is from and my kids could play with their cousins.

I have lived in upstate NY for 18yrs and I love it.
Good mountains for skiing, hiking, MTN biking. Within 2hrs of Boston and NYC..4 hours to Montreal.
The summers are nice...not too hot.

But you have to be able to put up with some nasty winters.

Not a trading area but the cost of living is cheaper too. Wait until you see the new house I'm buying. Once we close I'll post pic and then the price. :)

Where upstate? I went to school in the tiny town of Geneva, NY. Skiing was a 30 minute drive... Toronto was a little over 3 hours away... and NYC (and home, Long Island) was 5 in a half hours away.

I assume you were somewhere way up North being only 4 hours from Montreal. I thought about going to St. Lawrence, but it was too far for me.
