The price of insurance has gone up in part because of Obamacare. The price of medical care was on the rise way before Obamacare and has nothing to do with the passage of the ACA.
People are going abroad, I agree, because they cannot afford care here. But moving to a hybrid program where private doctors can cut out the insurance middleman, lower malpractice insurance costs drastically and run business smart models (accepting cash) will make the US more like a Panama model.
