I think the Dems know full socialist is a losing platform. Bernie is just energizing young Democrats but they dont hold all the power. Bernie cannot get elected only talking about not taking.money fron WALLStreet or free college. A prez has to address national economic issues, trade, intl relations with other leaders/countries, etc. All shit Bernie ignored and never cares about in detail.

That is why he gets a lot of press early but when the real global and domestic issues are brought to the table he is a lightweight more so than the others.

That is why he will never get the party nomination because Trump will destroy him in debates about global issues. I will go out on a limb and say Bernie will be disruptive but have no power or chance to get the nomination because free shit only gets support from far left voters ALREADY locked in to vote. And capitalism is all about profits and not about efficiency or saving individuals money -- in capitalism the way to save money is to buy a new car on sale using credit-- in other less capitalistic economic mixes the way to save money is to avoid buying a new car when your old one works just fine. Capitalism is about credit, and using government regulation to capture can't-lose markets where the buyer has to buy and can't walk. Can an efficient, moderate cost, medical care system survive full-on capitalism? We may get a chance to find out in the unlikely event that the next moscow election miracle fails and both the White House and the Senate fall into the hands of the Democrats. Don't hold your breath though. You'll likely be dead before that happens.

The all come out with amazingly lower medical costs and much better medical outcomes. I don't know how they do it. They must be fudging the numbers!
