Belief in evolution by country - % of population

Quote from vhehn:

you get no respect from me about your beliefs until i see the word evidence in your claims.

Right back at ya". Show me your "evidence" of what was going on the split second prior to what is commonly called the Big Bang. Show me your "evidence" of what caused the Big Bang. I'm sure the scientific community is waiting for your conclusions as they have yet to answer those questions with anything other than their own theories.

science does not know exactly how it all happened, yet. one thing we do know through thousands of years of observation is that there are no supernatural events. that being the case we can be sure it was not some skydaddy through magic words. we can be confident that it happened through a natural process.
the superstitious mind thinks. it looks too complicated it had to be a god. case closed. the scientific mind thinks its complicated,we need more evidence to find the answer.

dude,

you don't evoke a spirit every time you can't comprehend in the moment. in your case you'd have a million spiritual reasons for everyday everything :D

"Science does not know, yet". We agree! "We need more evidence to find the answer". We agree! "It looks to complicated it had to be a God" Never claimed that. Big difference between could be and had to be. Could be a lot of things and so we'll conclude our little debate on all that we don't know, yet.

And what spirits were you evokeing when Peyton threw that interception? Did you say god dammit? Why would something that doesn't exist damn poor little Peyton?
You are correct in the other thread stating that New Orleans had some serious dumb luck on their side. That on side kick goes the other way and it would have been a completely different game. I guess God has punished the city of New Orleans enough for their wicked ways. :p

Farts are angry angles talking. It's true, you can't prove it isn't captnobvilous.

meant angels not angles, but I can't prove farts aren't angry angles talking so we must consider it possible too

If that is so, then here is a 'couldn't be' to also consider.

Your contention is; Nothing can exist without a beginning

A first cause has no beginning.
Therefore a first cause cannot exist.

Then God as a first cause.... is no "could be" or "had to be".

Surely, It's a couldn't be.
