You know, all that ancient civilisation stuff dug up, doesnt prove anything about God.
It's very easy to claim 'biblical prophesy' proves God, but it doesn't.
My argument has always been, we are reading a book in 2022 put together a few hundred years ago about events thousands of years ago. Who's to say these so called prophesies werent stitched in after the fact, and besides, imo, prophesies are like present day psychics/Astrology/Palm readers, just hit & miss guessing nonsense, a bit like predicting trading. I just refuse to believe in prophesies as a source of proof or enlightenment.
So there was this ancient civilisation in the middle east where God was meant to have revealed himself.
We live in a different age, a different civilisation, why can't the bible be binned and God reveal himself again anew?
Wtf do we need God to reveal himself to the current world's generations via an old dodgy book pedalled by suited snakeoil salesmen who know zilch about history other than what was taught them by other snakeoil salesmen?
I'm not buying the bs!
