Victor did catch some great trends; but if you have his book/interview, know he uses much more than that. DOW THEORY requires quote´ months´unquote to change trends. SO SEPT + OCT were down so DOW THE0RY had you long till NOV first, 1987.
SO no ,DOW Theory not get him short, he uses a lot more stuff than that.And not to nitpick, but original DOW did not have 30 stocks in it; so dont try to pretend its the same anyway. Its like Wiliam O Ńeil said ´its easier to manipulate the DOW/30 stocks´LOLThanks
Check it out for yourself. No argument from me that Dow is only 30 stocks. But Dow Theory got the trend rider short nicely after the first drop and rise. Note that the rise must be significant. To add more juice to it which is how I apply it currently, I added SPX to the requirement. Adding Nas Comp to the fray, it’s even better for it gave exit signal on Oct 12, 1987

When you visit here’s what you can look forward to. ...... in all the 4 places I live shown above there is the same model Turbo. In Malibu I’ll take you on Malibu Cyn road at speeds you can only dream of. No cop danger, most are drinking buddies or else I’d have 100 tickets by now.
Oahu is overcrowded so Porsche tactics are limited. Big Island unmolested up the Mountain with massive acceleration into hairpin bends.
