Tried it. Didn't work for me in the way he describes. The thing is, Martin Berkhan is young, tall and has always been a thin and lean guy. He's never experienced the amount of weight gain that the average person has. He's also a powerlifter and works his ass off in the gym.
The problem with the way intermittent fasting is preached is that you can eat pretty much whatever you want within your 8-hour feeding window and still lose fat. Personally, I did not find that to be the case at all, and so I found the results to fall short of what he claimed.
