That is totally bogus. Just because they are not enforced does not mean first amendment rights are not applicable on private property such as an Internet forum. Why do you think someone can get sued for libel on Internet forums for example?

Libel is a separate issue, but yo have no right to post whatever you want on someone's private online community. Sorry but first amendment needs to be read a little closer, it has to due with government infringement. You have no 1st amendment right here at ET to say what ever you want. If the owner does not like what you are saying you can be banned.
If another poster calls you a "dickless racist", you cannot sue for libel, you just have to put on your big boy pants.
Anyone can sue for anything, that does not mean shit. Winning a libel suit on an anonymous forum site, good luck with that.....not a first amendment issue, that is a civil remedy if one can prove an injury that is significant .

As mentioned in my private message to you, you have this story incorrect (surprising). It wasn't Baron, it was Joe that handled the "very serious issue" of the moderator using your quote of one post out of context in a joke. You whined repeatedly to Joe, and Joe told the moderator not to do it again. Then that moderator realized what a thank less baby sitting job moderating was, and asked to be removed. Since then, that moderator has not regretted his decision one day. Shortly after, Joe left as well.
This shouldn't detract from what a great guy Baron is - as he has nothing to do with any of this. It merely points out what a chump you are.

Those who spread racism hatred and bigotry in P&R do so by explicitly stating they take advantage of free speech that was directly handed to them by Baron and Co. You are absolutely right, Baron could shut down that trash talk and all those fake news and lies in an instant yet he chooses not to do so. I am sure he has his own reasons, though I seem to remember he himself or one of his lautenants cited free speech as well as argument to let bigotry, hate speech and racism stand.

there are people on ET who see racism everywhere. then they make themselves feel good by responding,sometimes in near hysterics. it is a pathetic situation.
If you don't see rampant hatred, racism, bigotry, and misogyny in P&R you should stay far away from trading as apparently your judgement skills are heavily impaired. And anyone who looks away and pretends that is not the case is complicit in providing a forum for those who most likely act on their expression of hated and bigotry at some point. Let's leave it at that.

personally, I like to hear the rants and raves of bigots. if they reveal themselves they can be more easily hunted down later on by the Law, if they act on their beliefs.

that is wishful thinking and you can clearly see that that is not working out at all. Masterminds do not need external sources of inspiration but there are enough copycats and stupid people who were heavily influenced by hate speech, bigotry, and racism and subsequently went out on killing sprees. How do you think ISIS gained its followers? Indoctrination. I posted a perfect example earlier where an American and Indian were killed by someone who got all his material and thought material off racist and right-wing internet platforms.
