This statement by nitro sounds good, but lacks reasoning. If people had no choice, they would be doing the low wage work now, wouldn't they? Since they are not doing the work now, by logic they do have a choice.

people that work for min. wage in most cases do so because they have no choice not becuase they want to..

People that work for minimum wage do have a choice. They will always have a choice with the numerous social programs that we have. That's not to say that the other options are any better though. If I were in that situation, I would do everything in my power to provide for myself before I asked for government help. I imagine that many of them are the same way.

Even a minimum wage job provides dignity, a sense of purpose, and allows for the hope of advancement. So yes, it seems that they are still "willing" in the sense that there are other choices.

they have a choice among minimum wage jobsand may have refused a job above the minimum wage for various reasons. do people who work above the minimum have a choice. maybe they do or maybe family obligations force them into jobs they don't want etc.

you're very quick to draw conclusions about other people's investment style based upon no facts . do you trade the same way? i hope so.

I thought I already stated that everybody works, its not a choice for anybody. Where did you get the notion that only poor people have to work?
