When did you first become interested in Al Brooks?
I have been swing trading and was successful at it. But I was not good on day trading. I chat on an Indian trading forum called Traderji. There someone introduced me to Al Brooks. I bought those books on Amazon Kindle. I found the language very complex and repetitive. It was more like an academic book that needed a semester to complete. I read through it slowly and made my own notes. That made my life easy.
PS: The guy who introduced me to Al Brooks gave up on that and moved on to something else. I presume that is because of the tone of the language in the books.

i do not know any traders except one[who is also in Hyderabad] in my 30 years of market
brooks can be confusing.......but you must have understood what he is saying.
it took me almost a decade and 2-3 years after that practicing it.
it is quite easy once you 'get' what he is saying.
how long has it been since you finished the book and how long did it take you? are you using his set ups?

trading is very unique because you cannot be individual and an independent thinker: you are only successful when others have the same opinion as you.

I also read ninetrans blog. We have a group of Bank Nifty traders using Al Brooks and we chat on telegram. Reading took more than 6 months for sure. Trading the last 3 months.
A little idea, it takes many many years to settle down on how to trade - style.
When a 'young' trader starts out (beginner) they usually copy from others.
In actual fact, it's a trait of the young generation to emulate others, as an example.
When one matures, they begin to form their own opinion and become more independant.
My suggestion, have a goal in mind to think of original ideas, it will take a long time, but that's where success comes from.
