Actually, if you could cure the ills of society, we would be much safer. I lived in Japan for a year and a half in the late 80's. I never even remotely felt the need to own a gun. People were respectful toward each other for the most part. I could walk down a street in Tokyo with no fear. Try that in any major urban area of our country.
Unfortunately, the left has tried to cure the ills of society for decades, often with help from the right. Look where it has taken us. It has left us with the need to be armed. And Iâm not even referring to the original intent of the 2nd amendment.
