I have heard alot of mixed things about the Bahamas. Tourist trap, high crime rate, etc, etc.

If there were no tax breaks, would you still be there?

I have been to the Dominican Republic, and absolutely loved it. Still not sure I would want to live there full time though.

Not a tourist trap if you are resident; you tell them you live here instant change in attitude.

No crime.

That is good question; probably not.

But definitely another island ...

Hmm.....

Interesting.

You have to love the freedom of this business.
If you are a private trader: no clients, no customers, and you can live anywhere you want with a good internet connection.

What's there to do after say 10pm outside of bars and clubs over there? Bars and clubs getting boring after awhile. I suppose there is Miami.

I'm tempted to move to Vegas because it's so hard to spend money after 10pm.

Lots of ways to blow a day's profits in Vegas... :D

I'm considering a whole new schedule if moving to Vegas (PST):

- 7-8pm: wake up
- eat
- decide to work or play. if play, then have some fun, pick up on chics, whatever
- around 2am get serious and prep trading day
- 3am - 6am: trade Europe
- 6am: trade US premarket
- 9am - 11am: trading doldrums, so eat, errands, whatever
- 11am-1pm: trade
- 1pm: sleep

Sounds tempting.....I might just pay you a visit sometime next year. I never hear anything about the waves. I imagine just like about 90% of the US east coast only good during a hurricane?

Kind of quiet; however casino, tourists, etc.;

daylight time there is sailing, scuba diving, snorkling, golf (the cheapest golf in the world), etc. ...

Yes there are......

:D

Strippers are to me, what cryptonite is to Superman.

I'd better stay away from Vegas.
