bad news for perma bears and shorts

Makloda you don't seem to be as bullish as you were a year ago. I sense a lot of caution in your posts.

Here is the balance where U give a bearish scenario

A rate hike would be bad. I posted a few months ago one could happen and it would cause a sell off

here is the thread:

I am very serious when I say no more bear markets. No sensationalism or hype. It is a change from the usual subprime doomsday posts.

Oh geez, I have this ass clown on ignore, but I knew it was his thread before I opened it. I'm not sure that I have seen a perma bear on here. My definition of perma bear is a trader who is at least 100% short every day. Stocks defintion is someone who disagrees with his buy and pray style. I'm noy even going to try and begin to understand what planet this guy lives on. No more corrections? No more bear mkts? The market and economy are no longer cyclical? Oh my.

Poor poor stock trad3r, has no idea what assett deflation will do.

I can tell you this, assett deflation doesn't give a shit about the valuation of the S&P.

Pay attention, you WILL learn a few things in the coming months.

Folks, don't you realize that he's only posting this crap to get responses? Do us all a favor and put him on ignore. He's just a troll, and a troll only exists as long as people respond to him.

I just wish having people on ignore removed the entire post so you wouldn't see the titles.

Well said Ivan.

I finally put the village idiot on ignore last week. It made things much better around here. Too bad I can still see his ramblings when people quote him.

I wouldn't be surprised if ST was one of the owners of this site. His posts, and similar posts from other persons generate substantial posting activity which presumably increases the advertising value of the web site.

It really does wear on me though.

:D

PS - This theory would explain why they never get rid of these people in a timely manner.

Quote from stock_trad3r:

There is a gang of maybe five to ten perma bears on elite trader who for the past year have been constantly bearish in spite of the markets recent run. They hope that every sell off will result in a bear market of correction but their payers are in vain.

My predictions are:

There will never be another bear market ever again baring a major disaster such as a nuclear war or a massive meteorite impact.

And unless a market correction happens within the next ten years there will never be another correction again.

One possible reason is because in the past decade the US and global economy & markets have become very finely tuned with a perfect balance of growth, valuations, and inflation. In addition there are so many market players, arbitrageurs and hedging that to create a such a long standing market inefficiency that constitutes a bear market or stock market crash would be seemingly impossible. Empirical evidence of this is the continual decline of the CBOE vix index since 2000 and the the fact that the average PE ratio of the S&P 500 index is at 15 year lows.

Analogous to a musician that doesn't lose his tune as the result of years of practice the stock market will become increasingly fine tuned in that 'mishaps' like corrections, crashes, and bear markers will cease.

The chart of the S&P500 5-10 years in the future will resemble a nearly smooth exponential parabola whereas forty years ago there much much more volatility.

Has CNBC called to offer you a program yet?

Stock, it's so easy to spot that you just try to fill your posts with as much perma bullish non-sense as you possibly can just to create fake drama and controversy on the board.

The above post reads almost like sarcasm written by a perma bear. If you added a little more balance you'd be so much more credible in your bullishness.

The man is a narcissist--thinks the whole world revolves around him. The best thing to do is ignore him--he'll hate that!
