Right. My point is that Greenspan was a mainstream, establishment type when he was at the Fed. He wasn't a Randian or any other kind of strong laissez faire type. (Or if he was deep down inside, his actions didn't show it.)

I guess it depends on what type of Randian. If you mean economic theory perhaps not. If you mean out for himself and A meaning A or I am alive therefore I can do what I want with out the consideration of the effect of others then yes he was.

He screwed every person in the world because that is what they do. Remember the idea of self interest and persuit of own goals no matter the consequences is in the objectivist thinking.

Greenspan sold his soul to the devil and lost his way. He was not a randian while serving the vile state nor is he one today.

The pursuit of self interests without violating the personal rights of other humans is what a true objectivist believes. They do not assume to owe or own anybody. His policies while in charge of the fed were destructive and counter intuitive to Rands philosophy.

You might disagree with that, but you would be wrong to do so. Objectivism states that the proper moral purpose of one's life is the pursuit of one's own happiness or rational self-interest.
