Not sure you all giving cops 100% discretion to shoot people is the way to run a police force. They are not allowed to violate the Constitution at will...

They're grown children, hence the kicking, punching and screaming at authority.
I don't know if this is to me or Vegas, but I don't see anyone saying cops should be allowed to violate the Constitution at will. I think you would find that I am very much against anyone violating the Constitution for just about anything.
Ok, not going to disagree. So in your eyes is the solution to not punish the children or to let them go because they are acting like children? Not sure that bodes well for the rest of us in the long run.

Really? Who? I've not seen people support that narrative at all. Maybe I've not been paying attention to them or have them on ignore,,
I would argue cops are confused about the law because its subjective.
One DA says you committed a crime, the next DA says nothing to prosecute here..

If Captain Obvious believes (and I am hard pressed to believe this is honestly what he means and perhaps he should clarify) that any suspect who violently resists arrest (is there another way of resisting arrest??) should be shot, then I stand corrected on my believe no one supported that. But I can't believe this is the case. I think, as happens often with the Captain, he was taken out of context OR his filter wasn't on.
